Energy Transition in education

All faculty nominate and send their most compelling education from the faculty to the Energy Challenge Event to present their energy transition solution. Students present this during the event with a poster, model and pitch.

Awards will be given in the following year levels:

  • BSc 1st year
  • BSc 2nd year
  • MSc 1st year
  • BEP
  • MEP

In addition, a special award is given for exceptional work and there is an audience award.

Prizes:

All participating students and faculty will receive an anniversary T-shirt on June 9. Each section can win the following prize:

€ 500,- for an individual student
€ 750,- for a group of students

A jury will judge the submitted education on:

  • Contribution to the lustrum theme
  • Quality of the educational output
  • Creativity and personal contribution of the student or group
  • Relation to the field/discipline

Submitting student/group

The Director of Education of each faculty is responsible for requesting, collecting and submitting the best educational work to be shown on June 9. Each director of Education can send in a maximum of 1 group/student per year level. This group/student will present his/her work on Thursday, June 9 at the Energy Challenge Event. We provide a sheltered presentation area consisting of 2 m2 of space with a poster board or table. We will place all faculty together in a covered area on the event grounds. 

Education sign up:

The student or group will be signed up by the Director of Education through a short cover letter. The latest application date is Friday, June 3.
