Projects and assignments

It is a challenge to make clear project descriptions and large assignments, that are consistent with the assessment . Usually, a rubric helps to make grading between different assessors more consistent and more clear to the students. Consistency check tables help to create consistency between the instructions, what you want your students to learn, and the assessment tools (rubric and/or grading sheet). Please also refer to chapter 4 in the assessment manual.

Design a rubric

For summative assignments it is recommended to add a rubric to your assignment. A rubric is an answer model for assignments, usually in the form of a matrix or grid.
