Numeration 2020, June 29th – July 3rd, Utrecht University
Unfortunately we have to postpone the workshop to 2021 because of the corona outbreak.
This is the 2020 edition of a series of events which started in 2005 and is organized by the groupe d’etude sur la numeration.
The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers in combinatorics on words, number theory, symbolic dynamics, and tilings.
The topics involved cover, but are not restricted to:
- Automatic sequences
- Diophantine approximation
- Fractals and tilings
- Numeration systems and normal numbers
It is possible to submit a paper to the conference proceedings, which will appear as a special issue of Indagationes Mathematicae.
Important dates
- April 1, 2020: Deadline for submission of abstracts of talks
- May 1, 2020: Acceptance notification
- May 15, 2020: Final version of abstracts
- June 1, 2020: Deadline for registration
- November 2, 2020: Deadline for submission to special issue
