Late lab scale demonstration

A TRL is a measure to indicate the matureness of a developing technology. When an innovative idea is discovered it is often not directly suitable for application. Usually such novel idea is subjected to further experimentation, testing and prototyping before it can be implemented. The image below shows how to read TRL’s to categorise the innovative ideas.

Why?

2.6 billion people on Earth still lack access to safe and affordable sanitation. We provide a stand-alone solution for improved sanitation, waste treatment and high efficiency power production.

How?

Technologies and methods deployed: - Microwave assisted plasma gasification - Solid Oxide Fuel Cells and system thermodynamics for high efficiencies - Electrochemical evaluation of contaminated fuels - Innovative system integration

When?

Extensive field tests will take place within 2 years. Application on large scale of this technology as solution for sanitation, waste management and ultra high efficient powerplants within 5-10 years.
