Early lab scale demonstration

A TRL is a measure to indicate the matureness of a developing technology. When an innovative idea is discovered it is often not directly suitable for application. Usually such novel idea is subjected to further experimentation, testing and prototyping before it can be implemented. The image below shows how to read TRL’s to categorise the innovative ideas.

Why?

As medical imaging procedures (such as CT and MRI) are advancing, patients often receive the raw image data which is difficult to interpret for non-experts. Making this data available in an intuitively understandable way is therefore important.

How?

With Exposure Render, we develop a system that allows for visualizing the imaging data in a realistic and comprehensive way. Furthermore, we designed an online service, which enables realtime display even on mobile devices.

When?

Exposure Render has been in development since 2012. It is constantly improved and found a large echo in the scientific community. The online visualization service is a recent development to be accessible to the general public soon.
