Ali Cheshomi

Assistant Professor

I am Ali Cheshomi, a Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management, TU Delft, currently involved in the AGILE Project, with my research focused on crisis decision-making.

I hold a master's degree in Civil Engineering for Risk Mitigation from the University of Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Throughout my academic journey, I have acquired knowledge in various risk domains, encompassing earthquakes, fires, floods, and transportation. Additionally, I have gained valuable insights into the concepts and tools related to risk and crisis management. During the final year of my studies, I collaborated with TU Delft on my thesis, which focused on analysing the factors that influence decision-making among Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises in reducing flood risk and adapting to climate change.
