The metaCCAZE and V2G-QUESTS projects have officially launched

The metaCCAZE, a Horizon Europe project with 44 partners, will drive the adoption of smart and automated mobility systems in European cities, in line with the EU's Green Deal goals.
Simultaneously, V2G-QUESTS, led by top European universities, aims to develop equitable Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) solutions for better power grid balancing, integrating social sciences with engineering and technology.

SUM lab lands a JPI-ERANET grant (2023-2026)

In collaboration with 9 national funding agencies from 9 countries, NWO has selected 8 projects for funding within the joint JPI Urban Europe and NSFC call (ENUAC). Dutch research teams are involved in 4 of the projects. Together with public and private partners researchers will set to work on sustainable urban logistics in the age of digitisation and strengthening climate-neutral mobility.

Accessibility of urban regions on a low car diet – A research agenda for digital twins

In the journal Communications in Transportation Research, we propose a digital twin modelling federation as basis for a research agenda to develop a new generation of transportation models for the development of smart mobility modes in ‘car-low’ urban areas.
