CEG welcomes three new Marie Curie fellows

Three new Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellows at CEG. Marie Skłodowska Curie grants are individual grants for international researchers. Harry Zekollari from Belgium, Sonja Vidojkovic from Serbia and Linh Truong Hong from Ireland will be conducting research for a period of 1 to 2 years at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences.

Harry Zekollari –Geoscience and Remote Sensing – CAPSICE: CAPSizing ICE caps: identifying tipping points through global modelling
Harry Zekollari will be developing a model for the prediction of the evolution of ice caps.

Sonja Vidojkovic - Water management – MSP: Magnetite surface properties in the various conditions of power plant water steam cycle
Sonja Vidojkovic will be researching mechanisms of fouling of tubes in the water steam cycle of power plants.

Linh Truong-Hong – Geoscience and Remote Sensing - BridgeScan: Laser Scanning for Automatic Bridge Assessment
Linh Truong-Hong will study how a  drone with an on-board laser scanner can be used to make bridge inspection more effective .
