Interview with Niek Mouter at NWO MVI about the Climate Agreement Participative Value Evaluation

“The 'renovation of the Netherlands' that is necessary to realize the Climate Agreement cannot be achieved with old-fashioned citizen participation. We need to renew our toolbox,” said Ed Nijpels, chairman of the Climate Agreement Progress Consultation and Crown member of the SER. This innovation comes from NWO researcher Niek Mouter, Delft University of Technology. His team organized a citizen climate consultation with the Participative Value Evaluation in response to a motion by the House of Representatives. Nijpels and Mouter on citizen participation in difficult issues.
