Just published: Interactive e-book Building with Nature & Beyond

The interactive e-book Building with Nature & Beyond of TPM researcher Jill Slinger has been published via TU Delft Open Publishing. It explores the use of natural materials and ecological processes in achieving effective and sustainable hydraulic infrastructure designs and also looks at social design principles.  

The interactive book is freely downloadable and can be used by teachers and learners alike. Many people and organisations have contributed to the content of the book and the examples in the book are drawn from the Netherlands, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Ghana, Sierra Leone and South Africa.

You are invited to work through the material in the book and join us in becoming one of a new generation of engineers, ecologists, planners, environmental and social scientists who view the Building with Nature integrated design approach as fundamental to the future of hydraulic engineering, nature and society.
