Henri Werij is Dean of the faculty of Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft. And he’s a passionate  amateur photographer. As Dean, Werij has two goals that lie closest to his heart: making aerospace sustainable once and for all and giving his people the platform they deserve to shine.

On the occasion of Werij’s inaugural speech ‘Let’s start the clear sky revolution’ on 6 April 2018 all of the above was combined in a portrait gallery. Read the stories of ten researchers who, each in their own way, work on making aerospace sustainable or who use aerospace disciplines to make the world a better place.  Needless to say the photos have all been taken by Henri Werij himself.
