Maria Tsfasman

Maria is a PhD candidate exploring the field of long-term memory in conversational agents under the supervision of Catharine Oertel. She graduated with cum laude from a MSc in Artificial intelligence at the Radboud University, Nijmegen (2020) and from a BSc in Fundamental and Computational linguistics at HSE, Russia (2018). Throughout her studies, she worked as a research intern in Cognitive Developmental Robotics Lab, IRCN, The University of Tokyo, Japan (2020), Architectures and Models for Adaptation and Cognition Research Group, ISIR, France (2019) and Laboratory of Neuro-cognitive Technology, Kurchatov Institute, Russia (2018).

Maria's research interests span across social robotics, human-robot interaction, computational models of cognition. At the moment, Maria is focusing on the long-term human-robot interaction and the communicational role and specifics of long-term memory in conversation.

I am always open for collaboration with other researchers, so don't hesitate to contact me if there is something I can do for you:)
