This MSc. thesis provides a resilience approach to improve the water supply system in Sub-Saharan African small towns in the future under uncertainty. The approach supports the decision-makers to gain insight into the potential strategies by developing scenarios, identifying intervention options and applying suitable resilience metrics for the small town. The evaluation of the strategies is focused on the trade-off between total cost and resilience performance. Overall, this approach shows an interesting perspective for improving the water supply system in the Sub-Saharan African small towns.
