About.
On 11-12-13 September 2024, TU Delft hosts the TU Delft Exchange Week for Higher Education Institutions. During this event we will focus on exploring innovations in education. We look forward to exchanging experiences on Enhancing Continuous Education: Communities in Learning. This exchange promises to be valaubale for teaching staff and professionals in various fields. Interaction, networking, exchange of experiences and diving into specific challenges and topics are key.
Focus.
The focus of the TU Delft Exchange Week is two-fold: together we exchange experiences in education and teaching support (via information about different education organisation/ support departments). And we dive deep into the main theme of enhancing continuous learning based on your and TU Delft experiences. This so we can learn from each other. EXCHANGE is the main verb in both cases.

- Dinner 12 September: Additional fee for optional dinner: €30,-
Erasmus+ staff mobility grant - Planning your visit
- After receiving a confirmation email of your registration of the TU Delft Exchange Week, you can apply for the Erasmus+ staff mobility grant.
- If you want to apply for this, please contact the Erasmus+ coordinator of your institution. Make sure to be in time with your request.

TU Delft Extension School for Continuing Education
The extension school for continuing education is the department within TU Delft responsible for developing and delivering online continuing education to equip people to solve today’s global challenges. Our courses and short programs especially support lifelong learners and professionals to upskill themselves in areas of technical and engineering expertise of great relevance to the environment and society.

TU Delft Teaching Academy
The Teaching Academy is the network for and by lecturers of TU Delft with the mission to “collaboratively enhance engineering education” across faculty boundaries. To connect, share, spotlight & experiment, the Teaching Academy organizes various knowledge-sharing activities, leads the TU Delft Education Fellowship, facilitates experiments, grants Teaching Awards, works on educational projects and organizes the TU Delft Education Day. Within the Teaching Academy the focus is on showing how fellow lecturers do their education/teaching to inspire and learn from each other.

TU Delft Teaching & Learning Services
Teaching & Learning Services (TLS) partners with faculties, lecturers and staff in offering services and expertise to continually improve education at TU Delft. TLS delivers technical support for educational tooling, provides trainings, workshops and consults on didactical matters. The mission of TLS is to be your partner for educational development, support/improvement and the professionalization of teaching by offering effective and accessible services and expertise, based on an evidence-informed approach to education, innovation and learning technology.

Taskforce Education Spaces
In 2014 TU Delft formed the Taskforce Education Spaces (TAS) to cope with how classes could not fit any longer in the education spaces of their own faculty building as a result of growing student numbers. TAS came up with a 10 years transformation plan proposing a two-fold strategy: 1) governance structure for all parties involved in education spaces (education, real estate, IT, facilities), and 2) guidelines defined in a Cookbook Education Spaces based on contemporary pedagogies in collaboration with teaching staff and students.

TU Delft NewMedia Centre
The NewMedia Centre (NMC) is a media production and expertise centre for education and research. The NMC creates video (in a green screen studio and on location), livestreams, animations, infographics, augmented/virtual reality and is responsible for the university’s lecture capture. NMC experiments, together with lecturers and students, with media technology in education, such as holography, 3D models, AR, 360 video and audio and much more.
