"Furthermore, there are many courses that combine these branches of science. They provide you with completely different view of those subjects, which is also challenging. But the satisfaction you feel after completing them is immense."

"Finding the right degree course for me was not as easy as I’d expected. At school I enjoyed biology and physics, so I wanted to find a study in which I could do both. Most, however, combine biology and chemistry or physics and mathematics – the biology-physics pairing is not that common. I visited a lot of universities and looked at many different courses, but just couldn’t find the right one for me. Then I unexpectedly encountered Nanobiology at a Delft open day and instantly knew that this was the one for me.

The programme combines physics and biology. Specific modules range from theoretical mathematics and physics to fundamental biology. Furthermore, there are many which combine these various branches of science. They provide you with completely different view of those subjects, which is also challenging. But the satisfaction you feel after completing them is immense. If I had to choose all over again, I would still definitely opt for Nanobiology."
