Cécile: SPIRALING OUT OF CONTROL

Microbiology is all around us, but how can we  understand it if we can't see it? How can we discover new things, if we don't dare to lose control every once in a while? Ever since Antoni van Leeuwenhoek discovered the existence of microorganisms, he opened a world of possibilities to explain previously incomprehensible problems. In order to understand how the microworld works, do we become a part of it? Or do we just have to realise it has been a part of us all along?
