Can you remember the first time you had to practice scientific writing? Most of us consider(ed) this to be difficult - as goes for today's students. Scientific writing asks us to be precise, concise, and clear, in a well-structured and well-formulated way. Learning how to do this takes time.

In this Meet and Eat, Angeniet Kam, Education Fellow and lecturer at the Centre for Languages and Academic Skills (CLAS/ITAV), will elaborate on the importance of educating students scientific writing skills and will explain how you can contribute to your students' journey of becoming better writers, demonstrating materials developed by CLAS and an effective non-directive coaching method that is used in our Writing Centre.
