Benno Buschmann

I’m a PhD candidate at the Computer Graphics and Visualization group under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Michael Weinmann and Prof. Elmar Eisemann.

Before joining TU Delft I studied at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where I obtained my B.Sc and M.Sc in Computer Science. At FAU I also worked as a research associate in the Cognitive Computer Vision group under the supervision of Prof. Bernhard Egger. During my studies, I gained three years of industry experience working as a student trainee in software engineering for the automotive software company e.solutions GmbH.

My current research focus is on neural fields/rendering, as well as inverse/differentiable rendering. In general, I am interested in the developments of all surrounding fields, namely: Machine Learning, Computer Graphics, and Computer Vision.
