2020

On November 12, 2020, Ward van Helmond successfully defended his thesis, entitled "Fingermarks, beyond the source. What their composition may reveal about the donor".

He was supervised by Prof. Jan van Esch, Prof. Ernst Sudhölter, Prof. Christianne de Poot and Dr. Marcel de Puit.

The valedictory speech of Ernst Sudhölter, entitled "Verbindingen", took place on September 4, 2020.

2019

At the 4th International Conference on Desalination using Membrane Technology, 1-4 December 2019 in Perth, Australia, Zexin Qian won the 3rd prize for her oral presentation "Selective potassium separation by a combination of a liquid supported membrane and electrodialysis".

On Thursday, October 10, Mohammad Amirilargani successfully defended his thesis "Functionalized Hybrid Ceramic Membranes for Organic Solvent Nanofiltration".

Mohammad wrote his thesis under supervision of his promotors Prof. Dr. Ernst J.R. Sudhölter and Dr. Louis de Smet.

On Friday, February 22, Laura Paltrinieri successfully defended her thesis "Phosphate Recovery -  From Nanoparticles to Membrane Technology", that she wrote under supervision of her promotors Prof. Dr. Ernst J.R. Sudhölter and Dr. Louis de Smet.
