Ernst Sudhölter

Ernst Sudhölter studied chemistry at the University of Groningen and obtained his PhD also from this University in 1981 (cum laude). He joined the Shell laboratories in Amsterdam as a research chemist and moved in 1984 to the University of Twente as assistant, and later as associate professor. In 1990 he was appointed as professor of Organic chemistry at Wageningen University. In 2007 he moved to Delft university of technology as chairman of the Chemical Engineering department (until 2014) and professor of Organic materials & interfaces.

He retired on March 23, 2020.
