Jiashang Zhao

I obtained my Bachelor degree in Chemistry from Hebei University, China and received my Master degree from Renmin University of China with a project on the optoelectronic properties of organic-inorganic metal halide perovskite solar cells in the Center for Structural Dynamics of Functional Molecular Complexes and Materials group.

I joined the Savenije group in September 2019 as a PhD candidate. My PhD work focuses on photo-generated charge carrier dynamics in metal halide perovskites for photovoltaics applications. I will carry out our research in perovskites to study the mobilities, lifetimes and recombination mechanisms by means of Time-resolved Microwave Conductivity and Transient Photovoltage technique.
