Demo-Blog

Demo-BLog, a new EU-funded project under the Horizon 2020 framework, kicked off January 2023 in Delft, Netherlands. The 4-year project aims to unlock the potential of Digital Building Logbooks (DBLs) to accelerate decarbonization of the European building stock through further developing and demonstrating the tool, and fostering its market deployment.

Demo-BLog is a HORIZON-CL4-2022-TWIN-TRANSITION-01 project.

Project Results

The project will result in the following:

  • 4 key functionalities
    • That address the main barriers to resource efficiency and carbon neutrality, covering operational energy and carbon aspects, as well as embodied environmental impacts
    • New functionalities as a result of improved connectivity with external databases, tools and sources.
  • Support and stimulate the EU citizens to act towards more energy efficient building decisions.
  • Evaluated emerging technologies in selected cases, offering the technology developer application cases and the DBLs a potential additional source of data.
  • Demonstrate that DBLs increases energy awareness of the end-users and support them in considering the wider benefits, as well as provide access to wider government
