Incoming Master students
The Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management offers three two-year Master programmes:
CoSEM - Complex Systems Engineering and Management: designing solutions for large and complex contemporary socio-technical problems that require the consideration of technical, social, political and economic knowledge. The students specialize in a technological domain, i.e. Energy & Industry, Information & Communication (I&C) or Transport & Logistics.
EPA (Engineering and Policy Analysis): analytics, modelling and simulation of socio-technical systems with a focus on the grand challenges.
MOT (Management of Technology): technology and innovation management: innovation systems, business analytics, strategy, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
CoSEM candidates may enter the programme provided that they have an engineering degree and a demonstrable affinity with multi-disciplinary education (at least 30 ec in two of the subjects economics/law/policy).
EPA candidates have a Bachelor’s of technology or engineering degree and need to have a clear interest in modelling and simulation, and proven ability of either modelling or programming. EPA candidates preferably should be able to show their social engagement and/or interest in social and policy sciences from past (study) activities and/or experience.
MOT candidates have a monodisciplinary background in the engineering or natural sciences and/or proven knowledge of a technical domain.

You may only apply to one Master programme.
English language test
Only nationals (or BSc/MSc graduates) from USA, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada are exempt from the English language proficiency requirement.
EU citizens can send in the test results until 1 July, provided they have completed their Master application before 1 April.
A language test older than two years will not be accepted.

NUFFIC also provides a lot of information on scholarships for studies in the Netherlands. Check the following website https://www.nuffic.nl/ and look for ‘Grantfinder’ (for instance STUNED). Scholarship programmes all have different procedures and different deadlines.
The Master programme Engineering & Policy Analysis EPA offers several faculty scholarships. EPA also offers the Bert Enserink scholarship for one student in the Master programme Engineering & Policy Analysis EPA in remembrance of Dr Bert Enserink. Bert Enserink was the EPA Programme Director for 13 years and sadly passed away in 2022. Bert Enserink embraced EPA’s international character. He strongly believed that social engagement is essential for engineering solutions to global challenges and, in that context, collaborated with researchers in Asia, Africa and South America.
The Bert Enserink scholarship has been established with the aim of stimulating excellent international students to study the Master EPA, and financially supporting them. It is a full scholarship covering the tuition fee and living expenses for two years.
The Master programme Management of Technology MOT offers several faculty scholarships.
The Master programme Complex Systems Engineering & Management CoSEM offers several faculty scholarships.
General extent of Faculty scholarship: full tuition fees per year for a TU Delft MSc programme based on the statutory fee or institutional rate, according to the registered nationality, AND the living expenses, OR a tuition fee waiver per year for a TU Delft MSc programme based on the statutory fee or institutional rate, according to the registered nationality.
Application deadline for the Justus van Effen scholarship: 1 December.
Application deadline for the Faculty scholarships and NL scholarships: 1 February.

The TU Delft admission requirements are strict. Any work experience does not compensate for a low GPA or a different Bachelor degree than required.
The language requirement is also strict, Non-Dutch BSc degree (tudelft.nl). In case the applicant does not obtain the minimum scores, he/she will have to take the language test again. EU students can send in the language test scores until 1 July, provided they sent the MSc application before 1 April.
Exemptions are only granted to nationals from the USA, U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Exemptions are also granted to applicants who obtained a bachelor’s (or master’s) degree in one of the countries mentioned above.

TU Delft does not offer an application fee waiver in any circumstance.

All Master programmes at TU Delft are taught entirely in English.
It is not necessary to learn the Dutch language to survive in the Netherlands since most people can communicate in English. For those who are interested, the university offers several opportunities to learn the Dutch language.

Does TU Delft offer housing?
TU Delft suggests three ways to arrange housing. You can find more information here.
TU Delft’s housing service can only offer a room to a limited percentage (< 45%) of new incoming international students. Rooms are offered on a first paid, first served basis.
