With a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in the bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university outside The Netherlands.

Granting

Only students who have been granted a scholarship will be informed by TU Delft via email between mid-March and begin-June 2021.


Receiving the scholarship is conditional on the student fulfilling all admission criteria.

Extent of Scholarship

Contribution to tuition fees per year for a TU Delft MSc programme based on the statutory fee or institutional rate, according to the registered nationality, AND contribution for the living expenses.

QuTech Scholarship

Number of scholarships

QuTech offers up to 6 full scholarships. Two for each roadmap: Fault-tolerant Quantum Computing, Quantum Internet and Networked Computing, and Topological Quantum Computing.

Eligibility

Promising excellent international students, specifically interested in quantum technology, and (conditionally) admitted to one of the 2-year Regular TU Delft’s MSc programmes:

- Applied Physics,

- Computer Science or

- Electrical Engineering

With a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in the bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university outside The Netherlands

Fulbright Scholarship

Number of scholarships

1 for non EU (The United States of America)

Eligibility

Excellent applicants from The United States of America who have been (conditionally) admitted to one of the following 2-year Regular TU Delft’s MSc programmes:

-Applied Physics,

-Life Science & Technology (Department of Biotechnology),

-Nanobiology or

-Science Education & Communication.

Application deadline

13 October 2020 (23:59 CEST), by Fulbright

Applicants must also have completed their MSc programme application 1 December 2020 (23:59 CET)

Granting Only students who have been granted a scholarship will be informed by TU Delft via email by mid-April 2021

Receiving the scholarship is conditional on the student fulfilling all admission criteria.

Extent of Scholarship

A monthly allowance of €1.300 for 11 months of each academic year. Tuition fees are not waived. International travel will be reimbursed once to a maximum of €1000, and the costs of the residence permit will be reimbursed or paid for by Delft University of Technology. The grant for the second year will be given on the condition that sufficient progress is made in the first year and that sufficient results have been achieved.
