Elmar Eisemann to receive Dutch Prize for ICT Research 2019

The Nederlandse Prijs voor ICT-onderzoek 2019 (Dutch Prize for ICT Research 2019) goes to Elmar Eisemann. Eisemann is currently heading the TU Delft Computer Graphics and Visualization group, and he will be receiving the award for his research into the accurate, detailed depiction of visualisations using modern graphics hardwaree. The award, consisting of € 50.000, will be officially presented during the ICT.OPEN 2019 (19 and 20 March in Hilversum).


Prize
This prestigious prize is awarded on a yearly basis to young scientists who have done ground-breaking work in ICT research. The prize is awarded by the ICT Research Platform Netherlands, together with NWO through the Koninklijke Hollandse Maatschappij der Wetenschappen. Besides the prize money, Eisemann will, aided by NWO, be able to produce a poster about his work for outreach purposes.
