Peter Palensky new chair TU Delft Energy Initiative

As of April 1st, Prof.dr. Peter Palensky will take over the role as chair Delft Energy Initiative from Prof.dr. Kornelis Blok. For more than 3 years, Kornelis Blok has passionately devoted himself to bring energy research and education to the spotlight within and outside TU Delft. He was very active during TU Delft's 180th anniversary early 2022, which was all about the energy transition. Peter Palensky is head of Intelligent Electrical Power Grids section at the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science and since 2015 scientific director of the PowerWeb Institute.
The TU Delft Energy Initiative brings together researchers, students, government and companies in the field of the energy transition. The PowerWeb Institute is one of its 4 energy institutes.
