Research themes & flagship projects
The TU Delft vision on Climate Action published on 10 April 2019 is deeply founded in preceding decades of climate action research by researchers from all faculties. The goal of the Climate action research programme is to build on our current strengths and identify the areas where there is a need to strengthen our capacities and solidify our national and international position as a ‘climate university’
In the Climate Action research programme, we start from four themes and we have set up 17 new flagship projects within these themes which fill crucial gaps and will add long term value to Climate Action in the Netherlands and the world. Over time additional flagship projects may be added to the research programme.
