Angelo Caregnato Neto

Angelo is a PhD candidate working on multi-robot motion planning and decision-making under connectivity constraints. He is advised by professors Rubens Junqueira Magalhães Afonso and Marcos Ricardo Omena de Albuquerque Maximo at Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA), Brazil. His research mainly focuses on the use of Model Predictive Control (MPC) with Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP) to this end. The objective of his visit to TU Delft is to study the integration of reinforcement learning techniques with MPC-MIP for human-robot teaming. The visit is being supervised by professors Luciano Cavalcante Siebert and Arkady Zgonnikov.

Angelo specializes in robotics with a strong background in control theory. He pursued his master's degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science with an emphasis in Systems and Control at Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, Brazil.
