Guided tours and theme walks
Of course you can discover our garden on your own, but if you would like to have more information about our collections, please feel free to make use of one of our theme walks. Different walks in English are available throughout the year, just ask our receptionist.
Guided tours upon request
A visit to our Hortus Botanicus is always nice, but a tour guide who tells you more about our plant collections and technical applications of the plants makes your visit extra special. We provide guided tours for small and larger groups by appointment only. A 1-hour tour for max. 15 persons per tour guide costs € 40,- plus the normal entrance fees per participant.

Want to become a tour guide?
Do you know about plants and their practicle applications? Then maybe you want to become one of our tour guides! We currently only offer guided tours upon request, but would like to do more walk in tours as well. Whenever we receive a request for a guided tour, our guides are notified and let us know if they are available. That means you do not have to be available on fixed days. We get many requests for English tours, but maybe you also speak other languages? That would be very nice, but is not a requirement.
We will start a tour guide course again soon. This is free of cost, but compulsory for becoming one of our guides. Interested? Send your application and motivation letter to reserveringbtd@tudelft.nl and we will contact your shortly.
