CFD modeling of a biomass fuel cell utility system

HyET Group

Anion exchange membranes have the potential to combine the efficiency of PEM water electrolyzers with the lower cost of alkaline water electrolyzers. Techniques to enhance hydrogen production include the use of applying pulsed voltages and magnetic fields, which have both shown promising results in lab setups. Through this project, HyET NoCarbon and Delft University of Technology will work together to investigate the potential benefits of applying these techniques in a zero-gap AEM cell.
