Profiel

My research is focused on both, applied research in close collaboration with industries in the field of energy conversion systems, and fundamental research in the fields of numerical analysis, fluid mechanics and turbulence. In particular, my research expertise covers:

  • Fundamental
    • Turbulent heat transfer
    • Radiative transfer
    • Turbulence modeling
    • Supercritical fluids
    • Unsteady turbomachinery flows
    • Direct numerical simulations
    • High performance computing (GPGPU)
Here you can see a talk I gave for the opening of the Delft Blue Supercomputer
  • Applied
    • Turbomachinery
    • Supercritical power cycles
    • Heat recovery and upgrading systems
