  1. April 10 2022, I successfully started and finished my 30th Rotterdam marathon, which can be verified at this website. More details about my running activities can be found here.

March 24 2022: our paper entitled “A Fast Instance Reduction Algorithm for Intrusion Detection Scenarios” composed by Vitali Herrera-Semenets, Raudel Hernández León, and Jan van den Berg has been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Computers and Electrical Engineering,Volume 101, July 2022, 107963: it is already freely available till June 10, 2022 under this link
  3. June 25 2021, our paper entitled “A Multi-Measure Feature Selection Algorithm for Efficacious Intrusion Detection” composed by Vitali Herrera-Semenets, Lázaro Bustio-Martínez, Raudel Hernández-León, and Jan van den Berg has been published on-line in volume 227 of the international journal Knowledge Based Systems.
  4. June 28 2021, the NCSC report “Nationaal Cyber Security Beeld 2021” (in Dutch) has been published: it applies the cybersecurity concepts as proposed in my paper A Basic Set of Mental Models for Understanding and Dealing with the Cybersecurity Challenges of Today also mentioned below.
  5. My paper entitled “A Basic Set of Mental Models for Understanding and Dealing with the Cybersecurity Challenges of Today” has appeared in Volume 19, number 1 of the Journal of Information Warfare.
