Change of login to lecturer computers in education spaces and lecture halls

At the start of the new academic year 2021/2022, there will be a change in the way of logging in on the lecturer computers in the education rooms and lecture halls. From that moment on, you can log in on the lecturer computers with your NetID. 

Previously, the computer was already logged in with the TU-Lectureroom account. Due to the increasing demand for applications that use cloud services – which require NetID authentication – it has been decided to step away from the TU-Lectureroom account. 

Please note the following: 

  • After using the lecturer computers, the user must log out again. 
  • It may occur that a guest lecturer comes to give lectures, but does not have a NetID. Then the responsible department for the guest lecturer can request a guest account at the Service Point a few days in advance. 
  • Prior to the lecture, remember to retrieve the key needed to activate the computer and AV equipment (such as the projector) from the Service Desk and return it after the lecture.
