Natural solutions for reducing heat in cities

‘Cities can't sweat without open water and vegetation, and if you don't sweat, you overheat’. The introduction (or reintroduction) of plants and open water is the best way of combating extreme heat in our cities. This is the claim made by Anna Solcerova, who will be defending her thesis on this subject at TU Delft on Friday, 26th of October.
