This building houses the:

Reactor Institute Delft

  • Access to the RID building is by appointment only.
  • All visitors must have valid proof of identification (passport/ID card or driving license).
  • Walk or cycle into the RID site and report to the porters at the main entrance. 

Are you coming to the RID by car? If so, please note that because of building works, the traffic situation around the RID will be subject to regular changes. We apologise for the inconvenience.

You can park next to the sports fields on Schoemakerstraat, parallel to Watermanweg. The RID is about 300 m from there.

From the A13 motorway (Rotterdam - The Hague)

  • Take the Delft-Zuid/TU exit (exit 10, N470);
  • Follow the signs to TU Delft campus (keep right), turn off the exit into Schoemakerstraat;
  • Before the junction with Watermanweg, turn right into the car park;
  • Follow the path (approx. 300 m) to reach the RID main entrance.

From Rotterdamseweg

  • Follow Heertjeslaan-Uytenbogaartsingel, go past the turning into Watermanweg and into the car park on the left.
  • Follow the path (approx. 300 m) to reach the RID main entrance.

Car park:

The TU Delft Reactor Institute is located next to Building 58. In addition, P3 is located at Van der Maasweg 11. Through the secretariat of the person to be visited, you can apply for a parking card for free parking otherwise the costs are 08.00 - 18.00: €2 / 60 min.   • Travel from Delft Zuid station, then 18-minute walk
  • Travel from Delft Central station: Take bus 40 and get off at bus stop "Kluyverweg" from here it is a 7-minute walk or take bus 69 to Rotterdam CS, and get off at bus stop "Molengraaffsingel" after this it is a 6-minute walk.
  • Or rent a public transport bike at the station: 10-15 minutes by bike

  • The main entrance to the RID will remain accessible to pedestrians and cyclists via Kluyverweg and Mekelweg. 
  • The bicycle shed is on the left on the RID site.
