K. (Kimberley) Graauw

Research profile

After her studies, Kimberley has spent several years living abroad (Scotland and Portugal), working as a translator in different languages such as Dutch, English, German, Spanish and Portuguese.

After returning to the Netherlands, Kimberley started her career in administration working for a law firm based in her hometown of Zoetermeer. While working on the administrative side of a large number of cases of differing nature (among which cases relating to family law, labour law and corporate law) she started to develop a deeper interest in the actual content of these cases and completed several courses on the subject of labour, contract and social security law as well as she successfully completed the training to become a certified mediator, which enabled her to perform her administrative duties more effectively and enabled her to ease the administrative burden of the lawyers to a more extensive degree.

Looking for a new challenge which could combine her development as secretary as well as her interest in international environments, Kimberley started working as management assistant for the Flight Performance and Propulsion section on the 1st of January 2018. Here she provides support to the two chair holders, Prof.dr.ir. L.L.M. Veldhuis and Prof.dr.ir. P. Colonna, as well as to the employees and students of the section. By providing her services in the areas of HR, Finance, student affairs, order management or in any other administrative domain, it’s Kimberley’s objective to make the lives of the employees and students of the section as easy as possible so they can fully focus on their research and educational activities.
