W. (Warakan) Supinajaroen

Research profile

Biography

Warakan earned B.Eng in Survey Engineering from Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, Thailand and M.Phil in System Dynamics from University of Bergen, Norway.  His master thesis titled Costs and dynamics of war: System dynamics approach to maritime disputes in the South China Sea.   

He has been working for 11 years in operational and academic units of the Royal Thai Survey Department, three years of Geo-information works at the Division of Geography and five years of aerial survey operations at the Aerial Survey Division . Since 2014 he has been an instructor for the Survey Engineering Program at the Survey School. With a permission from Royal Thai Survey Department and Royal scholarship of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand, he is now a PhD candidate at the Knowledge Centre Open Data, TU Delft
