Daniele Bizzarri

I am a PhD student in the group of Molecular Epidemiology in the Leiden University Medical Center under the supervision of Dr. Ig. Erik van den Akker, Marcel M.J.T. Reinders and Prof. Dr. Eline Slagboom. I am also a member of the Delft Bioinformatics Lab at TU Delft and the LCBC in the Leiden University Medical Center.

My main research interest consists in developing predictive models for human health risks and aging, using molecular measurements as features (mostly metabolomics) in large epidemiological settings (e.g., BBMRI-nl).

Previously, I received a BSc. in Clinical Engineering and a MSc. in Biomedical Engineering (with honors) from La Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, respectively in 2015 and 2018.
