What I enjoy the most about working here is interacting every day with very smart colleagues with diverse areas of expertise, so I am always exposed to different perspectives and I keep learning every day.

I work in the field of high performance computing for mechanics of materials and structures. I have always been keen on maths and I find it fascinating that with maths and coding I can simulate with the computer how a physical system will behave. This passion drives me in my work.

How do I contribute to a better world? Through teaching the next generation of aerospace engineers and having a positive impact on their careers.

Why do people need to come work here? To address the biggest challenge in aerospace engineering today: sustainable aviation.

There is something quite special about being a tenure-tracker at the Faculty: the tenure track here is all about reverse engineering the path of professional development that will make you a world leader in your own field.
