How to participate?
Procedure
Eligible for application are all employees of TU Delft and Master students, whose projects are either currently undertaken at TU Delft or have been undertaken at TU Delft and finished within the past 2 years. Please begin your application with a concise and clear description of your project, so that an interdisciplinary committee can understand what you have done. In your application, you are furthermore kindly invited to reflect on the responsibility aspects of the innovative idea or project. We would like you to describe, how your project addresses the different aspects of responsible innovation (see the judging criteria below). Please make your reflection no longer than a maximum of 2 DIN-A4 pages of text.
We expect that the applications always have one main applicant, who will be the main recipient of the Prize. Up to 2 other researchers can be mentioned as main contributors/members of the research team – they will be mentioned on the certificate. The prize money will be shared equally among the team members. Please send your application to Mekelprize-TBM@tudelft.nl before the deadline on 22nd of October 2023. The main recipient of the prize is expected to be present at the award ceremony on 22nd of November, where the prize will be awarded by Prof. Tim van der Hagen.
