Energy Transition winning photos

Five images selected as the best shots for this year’s energy theme marking both Open Education Week 2022 and TU Delft’s 180th anniversary to share knowledge, solutions and inspiration with the world.

It was again a beautiful and difficult task the choosing of the best photos from all the stunning entries submitted by TU Delft’s employees, students and alumni in this annual We Like Sharing competition – thank you for all the great submissions! The photos capture what a sustainable energy transition looks like from different perspectives, and all will appear in the We Like Sharing site – another way of contributing to our university’s vision of sharing knowledge, education and resources with the world.

Set up by the TU Delft Extension School for Continuing Education, the site is an online bank of images created by the university’s staff and students that is ‘open’: visible to everyone, publicly searchable and shared under a Creative Commons license. This means that while each author retains copyright of their photos, they also choose what permissions they give to others – such as yourself – who would like to reuse them. Check them out next time you need an image for a presentation, a poster, some educational material or just for fun.

Huge congratulations to the winners!

What happens next? Make it 180
The competition is now closed until 2023 but WeLikeSharing still needs your contributions to keep growing. In the last month we uploaded 45 new photos from 20 friends and colleagues, can you help us reach 180 and make TU Delft’s anniversary more memorable? There will be a mystery prize for the person who makes that 180!

You can share your photos via this form, or you can get in touch by writing to SharingWeLike@gmail.com
