Do you have green fingers, are vegetable gardens your hobby or do you have clever ideas about how to make the best greenhouse?
Then take part in the Klus your greenhouse! Imagine if you can grow your own plants and improve growth by using clever tricks to help your plants grow better. We want to make the new greenhouse for indoor use in the kitchen, making clever use of photonics principles such as LED lighting, light conductors but also solar panels, for example. We are therefore looking for the best light efficiency.
Are you 15 years of age or older and do you dare to handle it? Then give up - together with a team or alone - to make a greenhouse between Saturday 17 February and Saturday 17 March, accompanied by experts from Technical Physics and the fablab of the Science Centre. With access to different machines (po. 3d printers, laser cutter) and different materials you can create your own invented greenhouse in 5 weeks. For this purpose, €150 is available for each group, which can be spent on materials for the project.
The kick-off of Klus je Kas is on Saturday 17 February at 13:00. The final presentation is on Saturday 17 March. On all Saturdays in between, you are welcome to come and work on your greenhouse in the Science Centre.
