Former MSc-student Marijn Siemons, together with Christiaan Hulleman, Rasmus Thorsen, Imphys-alumnus Carlas Smith, and Sjoerd Stallinga published in Optics Express on aberration control for single molecule localization microscopy, reaching aberration levels below 20 mlambda. The image shows through-focus spots deliberately aberrated by Zernike-modes, indicating the quality of aberration control and the goodness of fit of our optical model.
