MSc thesis of Nikos Damianakis

This thesis goal is to develop a smart-charging algorithm, which is robust against uncertainties related with smart-charging, such as: PV Generation, Load Demand, EV user driving patterns & Ancillary Reserves provision. The main uncertainty handling technique utilized is Robust Optimization, with which the particular thesis aims to address the impacts of the uncertainties and their potential management. Moreover, the thesis targets to enlighten the so-called drawback of Robust Optimization's overconservativeness, or in other words the "Price of Robustness"
