BK Expo: Freehand Drawing. Student Work and Artifacts from Bouwkunde

20 February 2024 09:00 till 12 March 2024 17:00 - Location: Collections Room (Oostserre) - By: Communicatie BK | Add to my calendar

From 20 February until 12 March, the BK Expo 'Freehand Drawing. Student Work and Artifacts from Bouwkunde' will be on show in the Collections Room (Oostserre). The opening of the exhibition will take place on 20 February at 17:00 in the Oostserre.

This exhibition unveils a selection of student work and artifacts collected at Bouwkunde. The featured freehand drawings, created by students, are inspired by these objects and offer a unique insight into the education in “Drawing from observation” - a fundamental aspect of the freehand drawing courses at Delft. The thematic narrative presented in the permanent installation "Bouwkunde in Delft: A Chronology", located on the first floor of our Faculty building, is further explored and enriched through this exhibition.

This exhibition is organised by BK Public Programs at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, TU Delft, under the initiative of Dean Dick van Gameren.
