On 16 May, the seminar 'Age-Friendly Cities Unveiled' takes place.
Beginning with the global phenomenon of population aging, the concept of Age-Friendly Cities is examined, focusing on best practices and the current status in Istanbul. Subsequently, tools for evaluating the urban environment for the elderly are introduced, as documented in the literature. Among these tools is one developed during Rümeysa's PhD thesis, aimed at enhancing the age-friendliness of cities.
