The Law of War: Isreal and Gaza

29 February 2024 17:15 till 19:00 - Location: TU Delft, Orange Room | Add to my calendar

What is the international community doing about the war in Gaza? Find out about the judicial efforts and their impact. Legal challenges to the violence of the Gaza conflict are emerging from all sides. What do judgements from the ICJ (International Court of Justice) and ICC (International Criminal Court) mean? And what impact do they have on the ground?

Studium Generale is working alongside Begüm Sari from ESP Delft to shed light on what the international community is doing, or perhaps should do. In this panel discussion, hear from experts about this thorny issue. You are invited to ask your questions as we explore the power and powerlessness of our legal systems in the face of war.  Places are limited, so make sure to register.
