Online Book Symposium on Sungmoon Kim’s 'Confucian Constitutionalism: Dignity, Rights, and Democracy' (OUP 2023)

18 April 2024 14:30 till 17:30 | Add to my calendar

This online symposium is centred around Professor Sungmoon Kim’s latest book, Confucian Constitutionalism: Dignity, Rights, and Democracy, released last year by Oxford University Press. The book presents a novel normative position that is not only distinguished from Confucian meritocratic constitutionalism but also from two dominant Western constitutional theories—liberal legal constitutionalism and political constitutionalism.
