Lora Armstrong

I am the Data Steward of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, starting in September 2021. My research background is in geology. During a PhD (University of Bristol) and several postdocs (University of Bristol, University of Minnesota) I worked on topics including superdeep diamond formation, the composition of the Earth’s interior, and magmas on the early Moon and Mars. A growing interest in data led me to change course and work as a data scientist before joining TU Delft in 2020 in my previous role as data manager in the Geoscience and Engineering department.

How to find me: I work Monday-Thursday and when on campus I am in Building 23, Room 2.36. I can always be contacted by email.
