Biography

Dr. Ir. Arash Rasooli is a guest researcher and lecturer at chair Building Energy Epidemiology, Delft University of Technology. He did his PhD in the field of buildings' heat transfer. Before his PhD, Arash completed an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at TU Delft. He moved to the Netherlands in 2012 after completing his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering track Solid Mechanics. His PhD dissertation is entitled:

In-Situ Determination of Buildings' Thermo-Physical Characteristics: Simulation, Experimentation, and Computation (2020)

Currently, Arash works as an R&D specialist in the field of heat flux and thermal conductivity measurement instrumentation at EKO Instruments EU.

In parallel, Arash is the coordinator of REHVA Community of Young Professionals: RCYP
